Thank you so much. As you can probably tell we know very little about things like this lol. We just enjoy the Mid Century modern look and trying to use items in our home. But we noticed that sometimes when we were in nicer places other than our local antique stores or thrift shops there would be certain items we were always drawn too but could never really afford. And almost always the owners would always want to mention that this or that piece was an Adrian Pearsall. Early on we didn’t really know what that actually meant, all we knew was that every item we really loved but could never buy was always your father’s. So we are more than thrilled to finally own one and actually use it. Of course over time we learned the significance of who your father was and how his designs were the gold standard. And I feel very honored to have been able to talk to you over the phone. It was truly a real thrill. Even my wife said after we spoke how awesome it was to have actually spoken with you. Thank you again I will be looking for your invoice to send payment.

Very helpful – Thank you, sir. I am very proud to be able to place one of your father’s designs in my country home. I’ve wanted this very sofa for nearly two decades when someone bought it up from underneath me at a little vintage shop I frequented. How strange that I just happened upon it in a vacant store window about an hour away from my home, and the person who bought it those years ago was ready to let it go. I’ll pay the invoice whenever you send. Thank you and God Bless. Rachel

Thank you so much, Jim- I am thrilled! Your father was an American design icon and it’s been fascinating to learn more about him. Our family is honored to have such a beautiful piece of his work.

Dear Jim, I can’t thank you enough! I just paid the PayPal service. Let me know if there is any problem. If possible, icould send me a hard copy with your signature-that would be wonderful to have. It would go to: Alex Ishkanian 22 Vermont Drive Paramus, NJ 07652. You do wonderful work in honoring BOTH your parents. I loved reading about your experience working with your dad and his company. As you said, I am lucky to have both these pieces and to have grown up with both of them! My mom had great taste and I’m sure she is smiling down from heaven now. I may be selling them but for the bit of time I have left with them, I’m certainly going to continue to enjoy them. I always loved them! Best, Alex

During a recent move, my Adrian Pearsall couch was damaged. The couch was given to me by my grandmother and I have been in the exhaustive search to identify the couch model number as the mover’s insurance company is not willing to pay for the damages unless I certify the authenticity of the couch. Are you still authenticating the couches?

Good day,
Since finding your site we are disappointed to hear of fraudulent sellers affecting your late father’s business. We have long wanted a Pearsall sofa, and after many years we are now in a position to afford one, specifically this one https://www.1stdibs.com/furniture/seating/sofas/adrian-pearsall-sofa/id-f_955062 But now we are now VERY concerned with moving forward with the purchase. This piece is a HUGE investment for us and will more than happy to pay for the authentication. However, Can you recommend a reputable seller in North America? We almost bought from Swanky. Glad we didn’t.
Regards, Christopher

Dearest Mr. Pearsall
I cannot begin to tell you how truly grateful I am for your response below, sad but grateful. Thank YOU SO MUCH for your time and trouble. To tell you the truth, I was very nervous reaching out to you as I feel your father’s designs are without reproach. It was akin to the question of who one would invite to dinner if you could have anyone deceased or alive. My table would have your father, Gandhi, etc. to round out to 8. PLEASE know that both you and your father have impacted my life significantly.
With my deepest respect and appreciation,
Margot Mandel

Hello,
I cannot tell you how excieted I was to discover this website. My father (now 91) used to own a modern furniture store in Portland OR. In their living room, they still have the Craft 2300-S sofa and coffee table. Since I was a small child I have said that all I ever wanted when they died was the furniture in the living room. It is EXACTLY as it was when they brought it home in the early 60s. I now live in Palm Springs, CA, and am very into anything mid century modern. I have a great “Alexander” designed home in the Movie Colony of P.S. and someday, this fantastic sofa will be residing in my living room. This furniture was built for my house! I emailed this website to my father this morning. I cant wait to hear his response….Im sure it will bring back a lot of memories for him as well.
Thank you very much, this made my morning!
Best,
David Wrenn
