Ensuring Authenticity

Submission for Certificate of Authenticity for furniture designs by Adrian Pearsall
and for furniture produced by his companies, Craft Associates, Inc. and Comfort Designs, Inc.
Certification is performed by Adrian James Pearsall, son of Adrian M. Pearsall (deceased) and Doris K. Pearsall (deceased). Adrian James Pearsall was employed by Craft Associates (founded by Adrian Pearsall) and Comfort Designs (co-founded by John Graham and Adrian Pearsall). As a young boy, Jim worked in the Craft Associates factory during his summer vacation time and in his young adult life, was a sales representative for the Florida territory with Comfort Designs. Additionally, Mr. Pearsall traveled extensively with his parents to furniture markets throughout the United States, including New York City, Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas, and Los Angeles.

The Certificate of Authenticity will provide the owner of the furniture with a photocopy of the manufacturer’s original catalog sheet(s), a time frame of when the items were manufactured, and any available anecdotal information. A signed Certificate of Authenticity will be provided as proof that you own an original Adrian Pearsall design produced by Craft Associates or Comfort Designs.”

In addition, a copyrighted 195-page journal will be included. This journal shares numerous photographs from the early years of Craft Associates, various news articles about Craft Associates, active web links to videos featuring Craft Associates and Adrian Pearsall, and much more. If I am not able to certify your submission as an authentic Adrian Pearsall design, I will attempt to attribute it to another manufacturer and/or designer.
