Outstanding Philadelphia area MCM retailer and restoration service

It is safe to say that it is difficult for me to pass up on an Adrian Pearsall piece offered for sale. But after 50 or 60 years of existence, not every piece is in the best condition. About a year ago, a gentlemen in the Washington, DC area took it upon himself to restore a few chairs designed by Adrian Pearsall. As he got deeper into the project, he realized he was way in over his head and now had a box of pieces. He called me and apologized profusely for taking two beautiful chairs that had been in his family for fifty years and rendering them useless. His last hope was that I would know what to do with them, so he offered to pack them up and ship them to me to keep. Possibly, (he thought) I would know how to restore them? Pictured below is a photo of one of the chairs:

Well, even after a few summers spent working in the Craft Associates factory, I would not have the knowledge or tools to attempt a restoration. That is when I began my search for a furniture restoration service. I got very lucky in my search. There are plenty of stores in the Philadelphia region that sell Mid-Century modern furniture, but I can only name one person that has as much information about the furniture that my father designed and also has the ability to restore it. Jeff, at Discount Mid-Century Modern is an expert at identifying and restoring furniture from this era. The proof of his restoration expertise is the chairs shown above and the results of the restoration in the photo below:

Jeff has a warehouse full of mid-century furniture, lamps, fabric and decor available for sale at fair prices. If you are in the market for any of his services, it would be worth a visit to his warehouse:
